so, do you know the show on mtv sorority life? well i ran
into one of the girls who is on it down here. her name is brooke and she is
studying for the semester or was studying as it's almost over.
well i went over to her house for dinner last night with thommo. she is
dating this swedish guy named klas. he has an identical twin brother and
he is absolutely gorgeous. they have been studying at murdoch for about a
year and a half now i think... well we watched friends and brooke cooked
tacos. it was great to have mexican food!! i haven't had any since i left
home. she lives in the dorms and there are a bunch of other american
exchange students so it was one big night of good ole USA. short of klas,
thommo felt like an outsider. he also totally didn't understand the
importance of "friends." i mean he watches it i think, but i guess you
have a girl to get into it as much as we do... i mean there is to be no
talking during the show!! it was funny.
she leaves next week tho so i'm totally bummed. i know
that we are gonna have a huge going away party at le bog and rosies but that's about it. she's off to new zealand for a month and i think klas
heads back to sweden for a while.
today is foundation day, a federal holiday, so i'm at home
stuck doing nothing. everyone that works at creatures is working and i
have no clue where thommo is... we had a great time saturday
night- went to the newport to see gravity, tom's band. brad, the
guitarist, walked up and was like so are you two an item or what? it sure
looks like it... we just laughed and said no.
i'm off to do a fun promotions thing tomorrow so that will be good... i
met this chick maddy at the liquor trade show and i'm gonna help her out
doing promotions for the nocturnal ball... this thing for hospitality
staff. we are going to get dressed up in ball gowns and ride around in a
limo and pass out flyers for it. it should be a lot of fun and considering
it's all free liquor i don't know why i'd say no!
