what is it about rugby players? they just think they can pull anything with a pulse??

oy, oy, that's my line.. but i'll tell you this, after meeting the all blacks and meeting the pom team, i'll have to give it to the kiwis. at least they have manners!

i don't know what it is about this country, but rugby isn't just a national past time, it's the national religion and the All Blacks are God. It's a good thing to see tho, considering that professional sports came to New Zealand not long ago.

since i've been in auckland, 2 major rugby games have gone down and both involved england. for those of you that didn't know, england is the reigning world rugby champs. i got to see them play in perth against georgia last year... it was nuts!

well, so after the possibles/probables game the all black team came down to the globe and partied it up. everyone got along great and had a swell time. the following week we headed to ponsonby for a flash night out. wouldn't you know we ran into the english team. i had no clue who they were, just big rude english guys to me. well a mate of mine recognized a few and headed over to flirt. they were pretty much all wankers if you ask me.

so, later that week both teams travelled down to dunedin for the first of two tests. it was a blood bath... the all blacks destroyed the poms. the country was in awe. i laughed. then the teams came to auckland and played in eden park... the poms lost again and one of their best players was ejected from the game. it was choice.

so the all blacks are on a role and the faith here in nz is stronger than ever. maybe one day i'll finally convert...
