you're not ruining my baseball - that's all i have to say.

so here's the quick back story... out of town boyfriend is coming to visit and we are gonna take a mini break to new orleans for labor day weekend. a storm comes threatening plans. that storm turns into the worst natural disaster in us history and thus naturally, our plans change. such is life.

the first night of this mini break is to be spent in houston. you understand, break up the 9 hour drive from dallas to no with a stop in houston. plus we have friends there and the boy has been asking to experience an american baseball game. so we head to houston for an astros game. its gonna be a wicked thing.

and here is where the blond moment enters... not that i begrudge the refugees anything, or don't feel for them but i had a selfish moment. and a blond one.

so wednesday, just before we are about to head out for houston i hear that all the superdome refugees are being evacuated to the astrodome. SCREW THAT. first you ruin my vacation now you take my baseball game away? what? no! you can't. not my baseball game. then i do a little more research and find that the astros haven't played in the astrodome for more than 5 years. maybe i'm selfish. maybe i'm blond.

that's my houston story.
