hello to
all-
so how's it goin? i'm
having an absolutely fantastic time down under... i really couldn't have asked
for more. the weather has been great and i have some really cool
flat mates. if
only now i can find a job i will be set! i start looking on monday. i'm not
looking forward to having to go door to door... i have a bunch of options and
jess has some leads for me but i'm not really into it.
so do i have
some news and gossip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone familiar with sorority
life on mtv? well, one of the chicks on it is named brooke, she is the blond who
doesn't really give two shits, well guess who her new best bud is? ME! I ran
into her the first night i was in town and was absolutely pissed and went up to
her and was like you're that girl from that show thing right? she had no idea
how i knew it was her but i confessed i'm a total mtv dork and i watch the show
religiously. well she is in town studying for the semester.... we've hung out a
couple times and are gonna try and meet up tonight at le bog... it's like the
local hole in the wall bar that has $5 jugs and $3 shots.... very
nice!
so it's not that much news and gossip but i think i'm pretty cool!
i've started to create my own group of friends down here which is nice. it is
amazing how friendly everyone is... freo is a VERY laid back town with lots of
tattoos, piercings and strange colored hair. definitely not what i'm used to hailing
from the land of blondes, but don't
worry... i like being a blond, it's much more fun!!
well i gots to
run... gotta get home and showered before the big friday night out! i hope
everyone is doing well. i have a cell phone now so if you want to call feel
free... check this out, it costs me .33 to call the US but it costs me .38 to
call in aussie... what's that all about???
