Hey there strangers! Sorry for being so out of touch lately, but I've been on the move and a busy busy girl.
So I'm back in Dallas now and should be here until about august or so. plans changed as far as canada goes as i need a little bit more money before i start travelling again. i'm still planning on going, just need to work in the usa first. so i'm working at this bar in dallas and having a good time. the people are cool and the money is good.
jamie left yesterday, he was here for 2 weeks and we had a wicked time. took him to do all the tourist stuff as well as a trip to hooters. he'd never been and i figured he needed his pic with the girls!! he's in calgary now trying to find a job and all that fun stuff.
there isn't much tourist stuff to do in dallas tho i have figured out. other than where jfk was shot all we have to offer is restaurants and bars, oh and tons of strip clubs. i offered to take him to the arboretum, but i guess going to see plants and trees isn't that exciting for a kiwi... its all you do in kiwi land... i don't know...
so i guess its back to the real world for me for a bit. then again i'm waking up at noon so i don't know how much of the real world it really is... i'm glad to be at home but living with the folks can be interesting!!
it has been SO hot here lately. i love the fact that i'm getting 2 summers! except its almost too hot to go outside. that's texas for you tho!

well i'm gonna run. the pool is beckoning me and my tan needs a little bit more love!
