Zug provides the dictum "small is beautiful". It presents itself in the most beautiful hues: a blue lake, green countryside, and the pink-white specialty Zuger Cherry Cake, which is dispatched all around the globe. Famous is also the Zyttru, with its astronomic clock. It is one of the four preserved towers of the medieval city walls. In Zug everything is on a small and beautiful scale and easily reached on foot.
