TIKEHAU
Calling Code: +689
Just in its geography, Tikehau, near Rangiroa,
represents something different. The land forms almost a complete ring and offers
an ecosystem separate from any other. The best part, of course, is the beach,
which is longer, denser in terms of palm trees and more secluded than the other
atolls.
Pink and white sand beaches border the turquoise lagoon of Tikehau. This location
favors idleness of strolls through the village of Tuherahera. On the little "motus"
located in the lagoon, you will also be able to observe magical flocks of birds
that bear names such as red-footed boobies, great-crested terns, blue-grey noodies,
or less frigate birds.
The open space alone is enough for one to explore different bends and nooks where the land meets the sea.
If there's a place you've stayed or something you've done, but we haven't listed, review it for us!
