Markets bustling with activity, Bollywood movies screening every day, Indians, Fijians, Ex Pats, university clubs and pubs - this is the Pacific's largest city. There have been a total of 3 coups in Fiji, all instigated for various reasons. The conflict in all these cases was centered around Suva only, although the economic ramifications of these events were felt throughout Fiji. Quick tips/suggestions You can wander around the centre of the city amongst the markets or check out some of the gardens in the area and chill for an afternoon. There are also hiking opportunities on Mt Korobaba, or you could opt to spend an entire day at Colo-i-suva water park.
