Travel to the South Africa of America
   South Africa is located at the southern tip of Africa. It is bordered by Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho (which is completely surrounded by South Africa). It is a vast country with widely varying landscapes and has 11 official languages, as well as an equally diverse population.

South Africa is renowned for its wines and is the world's largest producer of gold. South Africa has a strong economy and is an influential player in African politics. In 2010, South Africa will host the first Football World Cup to be held on the African continent.

South Africa’s diverse landscape of mountains, forests, rugged coast and sandy beaches means that it is the activity traveller’s paradise. Hiking and mountain biking are extremely popular in South Africa with some amazing trails stretched out throughout the country. In addition you can go mountaineering, abseiling and rock climbing in any of the mountain areas. In the Winelands, airborne sports such as ballooning, paragliding and hang gliding are very popular. Water lovers will adore South Africa as its expansive coast line means that it is hubs for all forms of water sports such as windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving, fishing, canoeing and even white water rafting. Finally, you will also find horse riding, golfing and bird watching prevalent throughout the country.
