Name: The Sail and Anchor
Address: 64 South Terrace
City: Fremantle, Western Australia
Telephone: (08) 9335 8433

What's it like?
Established in 1884 as the Freemasons Hotel, the Sail & Anchor was one of Australia's first pub breweries and has since developed an internationally renowned beer portfolio. This great brewery is right on South Terrace and feeds into the courtyards of the Shanghai Markets.

This place seems to always be hopping, and it's huge. There's a brand new cocktail lounge that opened in September 2003 upstairs and the usual brewery fare.

Redevelopment of the brewery also provided the opportunity to introduce an interactive tour that will enable visitors to experience first-hand the brewing process. The new brewery tour offers an amazing experience for visitors as they become emerged into the fascinating world of hand crafted brewing.

Make sure you check out their website!
