Review of Palawan Philippines PALAWAN
Calling Code: +63

Also called the Philippines' last frontier, Palawan is nestled between Mindoro island and North Borneo. The country's last environmental frontier is blessed with 1780 islands and islets most of which have irregular coastlines that make excellent harbors. Thick forests covering these steeply sloped mountains extend to the seashore. Palawan is surrounded by a coral shelf that abounds with varied and colourful marine life, hence the island province has been declared a nature sanctuary. The province boasts of extraordinary scenic wonders like El Nido, St. Paul Underground River, Tabon Caves and Honda Bay Islands.

There are basically two areas that are most interesting and most visited. The southern part is were it's capital city, Puerto Princesa is located, and the northern tip, is home to some of the most exclusive and most beautiful island beach resorts in the whole country.

Miles upon miles of White Sandy Beaches...Crystal clear waters that Abound with Multi-Colored fish and Corals in its sea floor. Awe-Inspiring natural Scenic Wonders, Historical and Archeological Treasures - this is Palawan.
