What's it like?
We haven't actually gone out with Dolphin Discoveries but a backpacker
at the Pipi Patch
told us this story...
He had gone out that morning on the Dolphin Discoveries boat but the weather was awful and the water was quite choppy. They cruised around
for 4 hours and never really came across any dolphins. Not that big of a deal, they offered everyone the chance to go the next day. It wasn't
an open ended ticket, they would have to go the next day... Well our mate was out of time and heading back to Auckland
on the Stray bus and wouldn't be able to go the next day.
When they boat landed he went into the office and asked if it would be possible to get a partial refund such as the other companies
offer in such situations. They pretty much told him his options were to go tomorrow or to get stuffed. Needless to say he was a bit pissed off.
As we said this is what was told to us and can only be verified that way... Use this as a guide, not as a rule... Here's
