What's it like?
Night Cat Tours, the innovative nightly tour service aimed at the Sydney tourism market, has announced a unique initiative designed to assist Sydney residents who are eager to introduce visiting friends and family to a unique side of the famous harbour city.

Launching the initiative, owner Stephen Arnerich says that although his unique tour is designed for tourists who like to visit places most visitors do not see, the offer will no doubt appeal to locals eager to introduce visiting family & friends to a unique side of Sydney.

Effective immediately, any Sydney resident will be eligible for a free ticket valued at AUD$65.00 for any night cat tour departing Tuesday or Friday night; provided they are accompanied by two or more people who have purchased a ticket based on a full fare of AUD$65.00.

"From a locals point of view it is the perfect way to beat traffic and parking hassles," said Mr Arnerich, "Not only will they also have a great night out with their visiting guests, but the tour experience is bound to provide the basis for some happy memories for all concerned."

"Since July 2003, we have introduced our visitors to hip local spots such as Newtown, Glebe, Surry Hills and Balmain concluding with a walking tour through the back streets of Kings Cross."

"Our itinerary even includes a drink and a Tiger Pie from the famous Harry's Cafe de Wheels at Woolloomooloo", he said.

Mr. Arnerich said Night Cat Tours is finding appeal amongst people who enjoy learning a bit more about the local culture and history.

"They want to scratch beneath the surface and this tour gives them ample opportunity to get a local's eye-view," he said. "We show them the places where Sydneysiders go for a nice meal or coffee and for a wicked night on the town."

"The highlight of the night tour is a view of Sydney's skyline few locals even know about," he said.
