Mazatlán is a combination of working city and vacation destination.
It is Mexico's most important Pacific port and home to one of the world's largest
shrimp fleets. For sport fishers, marlin and sailfish are the prime attractions.
There are also great beaches and a lively resort scene , plus a recently restored
historic downtown area, The surrounding area is full of small villages that make
for interesting day trips.
