Name: Regent's Park
Address: Marylebone
City, State: London England
What's it like?
You truly are in the center of London at Regent's Park. The Baker St. tube stop is just a hop, skip, and a jump away and from there you can get all over the city.
Quick tips/suggestions
If you are going to travel during the weekend, pay the extra cab fee to get to Paddington or Victoria to take the Heathrow/Gatwick Express. Trust me, you don't want to haul baggage all over the underground! TIP: The city is split into six travel zones, but your sightseeing will (probably) be restricted to zones one, two, and three. Unfortunately, Heathrow is in zone six. Save more money by buying individual tickets for your airport trip (around GBP4) and a multi-day Travel Card for just three zones to do your sightseeing.
Best Way to Get Around
Walking is the only way to go. You see, you are in the center of Regent's Park and it closes every night around 10pm, leaving you to have to hike or climb a fence (not recommended and likely to wind you up in jail) to get in. London truly is a walking city; wear comfortable shoes!!
