LAUTOKA
Calling Code: +679
Discover the North Coast of Viti Levu where rural lifestyle prevails and
Mother Nature still controls the environment. Discover white beaches, waving palms,
wonderful coral reefs. Visit the unspoiled Rakiraki and Lautoka area.
Lautoka is in the heart of Fiji's "Sugar Belt" and is often described as the sugar city.
It is located on the western side of Viti Levu, the largest island in Fiji.
The town of 50.000 residents is known for its wonderful botanical garden, picturesque
handicraft markets and a lively marina. The streets are lined with all kinds of shops and
restaurants offering a variety of dishes such as Chinese, Indian, Italian, Fijian,
European, Korean, vegetarian, snacks etc.
Lautoka is only 25 kilometers north from Nadi International Airport. Blue ocean on one side and green sugar cane fields on the other side surround the city.
