What's it like?
   Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is the largest historic community of its kind in America. This National Historic Landmark enjoys a wide variety of activities including, self-guided tours, riverboats excursions and special events. The village also offers two craft stores, meeting facilities, as well as fine dining and overnight accommodations in restored 19th-century buildings.

A non-profit, education corporation operates the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. The preservation and interpretation of 34 original 19th-century buildings and 2800 acres of farmland is made possible by income from visitor services.

Located 25mi southwest of Lexington and 7mi east of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, on US68 Shaker Village is easily accessible from I-64, I-75 and the Bluegrass Parkway.
