Name: Javier's
Address: 4912 Cole
City, State: Dallas, Texas, USA
Telephone: +1 (214) 521-4211
Price Range: US$20-US$40

Describe your experience:
Let me put it this way... I have lived in Dallas for 56 years (born and raised) and if Presidents Carter, Ford, Clinton, Bush1 or Bush2 came to visit me JAVIER'S is where I would take them! P E R I O D!

The food is great and can you spell CONSISTENT! the complimentary fresh made chips with bowl of butter, red and green sauce (the GREEN) is to die for.

Meat.... Seafood ... and Chicken...

Meat lovers I recommend the Filet Cantinflas... its a choice filet butterfly open with a delicate Mexican cheese put inside.... with a Mulatto sauce which is more like an Italian that Mexican (I am told it is a Spain type sauce or Castilian) and topped with sliced avocados. the sauce is not HOT and nothing like a Mexican sauce.

Javier's is not considered Mexican food so don't expect enchiladas or tacos - they are NOT on the menu. it is called Mexican Gourmet and I guess more Spaniard or Castilian.

I order the zacharias Cantinflas especial... if the waiter looks at me like "what"? I simply tell him to ask Pepe... the manager Maestro excellence! he started there as a bar back... over 20 years ago. I am guessing the average tenure of the waiters is 15-20 years... anyway I digress... it is a Red Snapper filet fixed like the Filet with the cheese and Mulatto sauce and avocado... absolutely to die for ...

This place is awesome and the service and attention to your needs are superior... I don't have an interest in this place or work for them .... but if it ever goes public SIGN ME UP... what more can I say! Oh... dress code is enforced and if you don't make reservations expect a long wait ANY night! not open for lunch and while I don't smoke so don't frequent the cigar bar ... for those that do... it is a many must.

if you have a bad dinner there I will kiss your butt on main street and give you a week to draw a crowd!! is that Texas brag or Texas SURE THING!

regards and GREAT DINING!

- zacharias.
