Review of travel to Cape Town South Africa CAPE TOWN
Calling Code: +27

The beautiful seaport of Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa, covering about 116 square miles at the northern end of the Cape Peninsula, just north of the Cape of Good Hope.

Parts of the city and its environs cling to the slopes of 3,563-foot-high Table Mountain, parts lie along the shores of Table Bay, and the remainder stretches across the flatland to False Bay. Despite this layout, the city is relatively small and its streets are arranged, for the most part, on an orderly grid that makes it easy to get around.

This diverse city offers Capetonians and visitors a wide array of choices, including mountain walks, miles of beach, vineyard tours and excellent restaurants.
