A beautiful and popular international resort, Canc�n is located on the northeastern coast of Mexico's Yucat�n Peninsula.
The principal resort portion is actually the L-shaped island called Isla Canc�n, 13 miles long and a quarter mile wide. Two bridges
link Isla Canc�n to the mainland, where the city, Ciud�d Canc�n, was established to service the resort.
Since the 1970s, Canc�n has grown into one of the most beloved resorts in the world, with straight, paved streets, lovely white-sand
beaches and potable tap water.
The beach is just one attraction that makes Cancun an excellent tourist destination.
The city's party atmosphere, with its warm environment, invites people from everywhere
to come together. In Cancun's hotel zone, the beauty of the beach and the Nichupte
Lagoon coexist with the modernity and opulence of the surrounding buildings.
