Name: Campisi's Egyptian Room
Address: 5610 E. Mockingbird Lane
City, State: Dallas, Texas, USA
Telephone: +1 (214) 827-0355
Price Range: $-$$

Describe your experience:
Despite the name, this is good old fashioned Italian fare. Rumour has it Jack Ruby ate here before he killed Lee Harvey Oswald. The Campisi family has been in Dallas for years and the Egyptian Room just as long. It's been in the same location on Mockingbird since 1946 and is open daily for lunch and dinner.

We've been on several occasions and had just fantastic food. The place is always packed and you can call for pick-up or even delivery on the pizza. The pizza is great and a large could probably feed an army of people. It's great. I've eaten the lasagana which was just phenomenal and massive... even for a lunch portion. I've had the manicotti which is delightful with or without the meat sauce. If you get a lunch special, all orders come with a salad and garlic bread. The salad is incredible and could serve as lunch itself.

Make sure you check out their website...
