What's it like?
If sunsets are your thing, this is the place to see it. As
they say, "Cafe del Mar was born to put sunsets to music."
Located right on the shores of the bay of Calo des Moro, a unique spot of age-old rocks
eroded by the waves and the winds of the western Mediterranean. The
atmosphere is captivating as street dancers and firethrowers perform
between tables... Make sure to order several jugs of sangria...
Cafe del Mar opened in June 1980 to great fanfare from the people of
Ibiza. The owners of the cafe knew they had something special with the
natural spectacle each day at sunset and set out to create what is today
Cafe del Mar. Open-air terraces occupy the front allowing a spectacular
view of the sea and the island of Conejera. Playing music at Caf� del Mar
has become a privilege to an endless list of known national and foreign
DJs.
Nights at Cafe del Mar provide a moment of simplicity in the craziness
that is ibiza.
