Name: Cable Beach
Location: Broome, Western Australia

What's it like?
The famous Cable Beach is one of the world's most stunning beaches and it's easy to see why. Where the endless red of the Great Sandy Desert collides with the crystalline blue of the Indian Ocean, twenty-three kilometers of pristine white sand beckon the sun lover. From the nudist section on the northern end all the way down to Gantheaume Point, Cable Beach is nothing but spectacular. Every day Broome's ten metre tides wash the beach clean and often strand stragglers... it's quite common to see 4WD vehicles or camels (this is where they do the camel rides) coming and going.

It's hard to describe Cable Beach with words and the pictures you take don't capture the true color and beauty of what lays before you. Sunsets are amazing as the horizon goes on forever and the reflected colors are breath-taking. You can spend hours just watching nature take its course.

There are full restrooms and showers as well as a cafe on Cable Beach. Various vendors will rent out jet skis and surfboards... feel free to compare prices. Beware though, you're gonna get a lot of sun chilling out at Cable Beach so make sure to slippity slap with the sunscreen. Box jellyfish are known to swim in the waters of Western Australia so listen out for warnings and don't swim unless it's safe.
