CABARETE Calling Code: +1(809)    40 minutes east of Puerto Plata lies a mile-long charming town named Cabarete, known as surfer's paradise because of its strong winds. The town is full of beachfront inns and resorts, there are lots of beach cafes, beach bars, street life and boutiques. Cabarete has a wide sandy beach and is great for young couples and singles. Swimming is not recommended for small children on some beaches. If there's a place you've stayed or something you've done, but we haven't listed, review it for us!
