What's it like?
Take a trip thru the history of the amazing state of Texas at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum.

The museum recently opened on Congress Avenue, right across from the University of Texas. From the early days when Mexico, Spain and France all had their hands in the pot, to the times of Texas standing as its own Republic, to the discovery of oil and the more recent times of J.R. and the emergence of Dallas as a major business center, the Museum covers it all.

There is an IMAX theatre (open Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm) which features various films including the Story of Texas which is a thrilling ride through the hills and plains of the Texas countryside.

For anyone who ever wondered about Texas, this is the place to fill your curiosity. For true Texans and visitors alike, the museum is definitely worthwhile.
