What's it like?
Beautiful. Or at least that's what the people there want you to think of them... We happened upon Mission
Bay on a warm winter day with plenty of MILFs walking their young.
Grab some fish and chips and head to the beach. It's a Kiwi thing but it's great mate! If you can get past all the lovely
seagulls, you can get some great views and actually feel like you've escaped the city... if only for a few minutes. It is the
closest of the truly worthwhile city beaches.
The atmosphere lends itself to be great on the weekends with the numerous cafes and restaurants lining the coast. During the summer,
swimming is best at high tide, otherwise it is way too shallow for way too long.
