   When was the last time you dangled upside down from your ankles on a huge rubber cord or hauled the sails on a square rigger or swam through a wall of iridescent reef fish?

You're out there experiencing new cultures and visiting new places... you're bound to find some fun things to do along the way. You didn't come all this way just to sit in your hotel or hostel did you?

Take the time to find out what activities are special to the places you visit... if you're in New Zealand you should visit the birthplace of the bungee jump... if you're in Australia you should dive the Great Barrier Reef. Get the idea?

The best way of finding out what's going on is to ask the locals, or pick up the local newspaper for details of gigs, club nights, live music and special events. Also look out for posters slapped onto walls, lamp posts, billboards, you get the idea.
