Adventure tours and things to do
Thailand's climate is ruled by monsoons creating 3 seasons in the north and 2 in the south. It rains more and longer in the south, which is subject to the northeast monsoon from November to January. Most of Thailand is very humid, with an overall average of 66% to 82%, depending on the season and time of day.

The best overall time for visiting most of Thailand falls between November and March. If you're spending some time in Bangkok, be prepared to rest in April and do some flood-water wading in October. The peak seasons are August, November, December, February and March. The hot part of the dry season reaches its hottest along the northeast plateau, and temperatures easily soar to 39C, dropping only a few degrees at night. However, during the cool season, the temperature can drop to 13C in Chiang Mai at night.
