Review of international travel to Switzerland
Travelers who explore Switzerland by train, bus or boat will gain time, flexibility and comfort, making for better than ever holidays. Many trains have become faster, giving you more time at your destination. Zurich, Bern and Basel are now connected at half-hour intervals, meaning that there is a train every half hour. Most alpine destinations have been upgraded with better connections and in some cases now have direct trains to the airport.

Catch a train from Zurich to Interlaken every half hour. Because of rail improvements, travelers from Zurich Main Train Station can now reach Interlaken in less than two hours. This means you can be in the Bernese Oberland, including the Saanenland and the Jungfrau Region faster.

Trains to Arosa, Davos and St Moritz now have better connections in Chur or Landquart, making the trip faster. The rolling stock sports ample storage area for bulky bags and sports equipment.

Sass Fee and Zermatt are easier to reach from Zurich Airport. You can now be in Zermatt up to 30 minutes faster.
