   We think that if you are travelling, you might want to know just what your hard earned money will get you. So listed below is the actual, and relative cost of a few major items you might purchase or consume when you are in the land of the Long White Cloud.

So that gives you a pretty fair indication of the cost of living here. Generally day to day living isn't too expensive here. If you want to keep off the 2 minute noodles, we'd recommend that you work on a budget of around $50-$70 NZD a day. It would be beneficial to keep some money hidden away for activities, like sky diving, bungy jumping, or a Milford Sound trip.
