Review of international travel to Jamaica
The main airport for tourist arrivals in Jamaica is the Sangster Airport in Montego Bay, recently refitted, which serves the resort towns of Negril, Montego Bay, Runaway Bay and Ocho Rios. If you are travelling on to Port Antonio or to Kingston itself you should fly to the Norman Manley airport just outside Kingston. Long haul scheduled flights often make a stop at both airports. The national carrier is Air Jamaica. You need an onward or return ticket to get into the country and there is a departure tax of J$400.
