Curaçao has extremely good air connections from Europe, the
US, South America and points around the Caribbean, to its airport at Hat, 7 miles
(11km) north of Willemstad. Other possibilities include a boat from Venezuela,
though this is recommended only for the traveller with plenty of time to spare.
An airport tax of US$12.50 is payable upon leaving Curaçao, US$6 to the
Dutch Caribbean.
