| Day 1 |
Start the
day early with a comfortable van ride to the summit of
Pikes Peak, and then take Pikes Peak by Bike down
the mountain. For the really fit actives, you can even
hike up Barr Trail, which takes you to the top of Pikes
Peak. If rock climbing is more your speed, then you're
sure to love AlpenQuest or Gravity Play, where they guide
you on an exciting and safe rock-climbing adventure.
There
are hundreds of trails for hardy backpackers or casually
strollers to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pikes Peak
region.
And you must take a hike, run or bike thru the beautiful
Garden of the Gods Park. Start your visit to this
geological wonder at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and
Nature Center. Learn more about the forces of nature that
created the park and the amazing array of plants and wildlife
that inhabit it. You can travel the bike route through
the Garden or get on one of the many trails throughout
the park.
For a different more of travel, enjoy a relaxing
horseback ride through the stunning red rock desert of
the Garden of the Gods.

| Day 2 |
If you prefer
to bike some more, get on the new Santa Fe Trail,
which take you from the south end of town, north through
the Air Force Academy, past Monument and up to
Palmer Lake. You can even run the trail for ore more of
a workout.
For those left with energy in the even, the
Pikes Peak International Raceway will awaken even
the weary with the thrill and action of NASCAR racing
at the world's fastest mile oval.

| Day 3 |
All-day or
half day, thrilling whitewater raft trip await you with
reservations made through any of the river rafting companies
in the region. Special arrangements are easily made to
extend your rafting or float trip up to three days.
For
a unique experience try the "Raft n Rail" with Echo
Canyon and the Historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad.
They have teamed up to offer you the excitement of the
river with the Historic Royal Gorge Route's scenic railroad
in on continuous excursion.
