It's quite easy to "Slip into Broometime" in this quiet Western Australia town. Don't be fooled by the local saying, however,
as there are millions of things to do in Broome. From the incredible sunsets over Cable Beach to a rowdy night in Chinatown, there's plenty
to keep you occupied.
Here's our list of must sees and dos:
Take a leisurely stroll and swim on Cable Beach, 22 kilometres of pristine white sand and clear tropical water, washed clean every day by Broomes big tides.
Sit back and relax on Cable Beach with a cool drink and watch the spectacular sunsets over the Indian Ocean.
Visit Gantheaume Point, home of the 130 million year old dinosaur footprints which can be seen at very low tides. Broomes Hovercraft can take you there for the true adventure ride. While there, take in the vibrant colours of the red sandstone cliffs that spill into the water and see Anastasias Pool built by a former lighthouse keeper for his arthritic wife.
Wander through Chinatown, once the bustling hub of pearl shells, billiard saloons, entertainment houses and Chinese eateries. The finest pearl showrooms, retail outlets and sidewalk cafs will provide you with a great shopping experience and time to soak in the charm of old and new Broome.
Check out the history of pearling in Broome and be whisked back in time to the high seas and drama of the early days of pearling, and include a visit to Willie Creek, a working pearl farm open to the public.
Grab some friends and take a leisurely camel ride along a Cable Beach sunrise or sunset.
Escape on a leisurely boat cruise along Cable Beach, or even an extended cruise up the Kimberley Coast or dive trip to the world famous Rolley Sholls on the award winning luxurious True North with North Star Charters.

air-conditioned state of the art Sun Cinemas.
Roam through the Broome Historical Society Museum, explore the fascinating history and drama awaiting you.
Venture down to the Courthouse Markets any Saturday morning and wind your way through the amazing collection of local arts and crafts or even a tasty bite to eat. While there, visit the Courthouse, one of Broomes finest original buildings.
Reflect on the dangers of the early days of diving at the Japanese Cemetery, final resting place for over 900 pearl divers.
Pop over to Town Beach on a full moon and witness the spectacle of Staircase to the Moon, a natural phenomena caused by a full moon reflecting off the tidal flats of Roebuck Bay. Markets are held to coincide with this event a great place to soak up the atmosphere.
Visit The Broome Crocodile Park let Malcolm Douglas introduce you to the ancient reptiles in an
up close and personal experience at his world famous research centre.
