The main centre for air arrivals is New Providence, for Nassau, Cable Beach and Paradise Island, and for onward local flights to the Out islands. Grand Bahama is also quite a big destination and there are plenty of direct flights to there from the main American mainland, principally the Abacos, Eleuthra and the Exumas, plus San Salvador. There is a departure tax of $15, or $18 out of Freeport.
