Yes its the highest tower in the Western hemisphere - of course you can jump off it! This ain't a bungy, its mad!
Cruise around the Hauraki Gulf
Take a cruise in the lovely Hauraki gulf, see the whales and dolphins and get lunch to boot!
Kelly Tarltons Underwater World
A seawater aquarium built in old holding tanks, Kelly Tarltons has a moving walkway through a transparent underwater caver. Antarctic Encounter is a recreation of an Antarctic environment where you jump on a snow mobile and tour a penguin colony, get attacked by an orca whale and more!
Maritime Museum
The museum celebrates NZ's maritime heritage, voyaging traditions and the craft of the Pacific.
Art Gallery
Contemporary NZ art and international and historical paintings call the Auckland Art Gallery home. On the edge of Albert Park at Wellesley St East and Kitchener St, the gallery is open daily and often offers free admission to exhibits on Mondays.
Victoria Park Market
Just 3km from the CBD, the Victoria Park Market is an outdoor market with fruit, veggies, clothes, books and handicrafts.
Waiheke Island
Popular with local and Aucklanders for its long sweeping beaches, vineyards and craft shops, Waiheke Island is about a 35minute ferry ride from Auckland. For many yeas it has attracted all kinds of artistic and alternative lifestyle folk - their work can be seen in a number of galleries on the island.

Auckland Zoo
See kiwi birds in the nocturnal house and seek out over 900 animals, including exotic and native species. Auckland Zoo is committed to conservation and to the preservation of natural habitats.
Viaduct Village
Built for the Americas Cup sompetition the viaduct is still the place the wealthy and beautiful go to be seen at the cafes and restaurants. If you're a bit more boho, try Ponsonby Road.
Mt Eden
Seriously good views of the city. From here you can see both sides of the peninsular, and on the way down you can check out the groovy Mt Eden cafes. (Great bakery too!)
Auckland Museum
After the national museum Te Papa in Wellington, this is the biggest museum in NZ and it has great collections of Maori, Polynesian and European settler artifacts, as well as the manditory egyptian mummies.
LionZone Brewery
Backpackers and beer - it's just so right. Take the tour. Try New Zealand beer. Then go to the pub and try some more.
