The modest Wallblake Airport in the centre of the island cannot take
long-haul flights and so you must make a connection in the Caribbean, but it is
usually possible to reach the island in the same day. Transit points are Antigua,
Sint Maarten and San Juan in Puerto Rico. The journey by seas from Marigot, St
Martin is perhaps a more charming way to arrive. There is a departure tax of EC$26.50
if you leave by air, EC$5 by sea.
