| Dow Jones confirms Murdoch takeover
Dow Jones has confirmed that media tycoon Rupert Murdoch has won control of the company and the Wall Street Journal newspaper in a $US5 billion takeover.
The Journal will be added to News Corp's vast media portfolio, which includes newspapers in the US, Britain and Australia, the Fox network, satellite TV operations and MySpace.
