St Thomas is highly developed and easily reachable from mainland
USA. There are big hotels and endless shopping in Charlotte Amalie. The island
gets crowded, but has great restaurants and bars and is a good transit point.
St Croix is larger and less developed, but still has some nice hotels and restaurants.
St. John is the least developed of the US Virgin Islands - much of it is National
Park. There are good bars and restaurants and the coasts. The island is also frequented
by passing yachties.
