Strung between St. Vincent and Grenada, the Grenadines boast fantastic sea, beaches and sailing; a good mix of attractive tourist islands - including island-enclaves of super-luxury - and accessible West Indian life. Island-hoppung is possible. Canouan has fine anchorafes and hidden coves; Mayreau is secluded with beaches on all sides; the Tobago Cays are unihabited islets in paradise. Union Island is th elocal transit point for the Southern Grenadines.
St Vincent is an unspoilt, quite poor, English-speaking Windward Island; it has grand natural fertility and just a few comfortable, family run hotels.
